2. Information Sharing

2.2 Our Platform is designed to help you share information with the NovelNest community. Any personal information you voluntarily choose to make public in public areas of the Platform will be available to anyone who has access to that content (including other NovelNest users), such as your username, name, descriptions you create, your location, messages you post in your profile, forums or to other users, lists you create, users you follow, stories you write, and many other information generated in the course of your use of the Platform.
2.3 We will not rent or sell your personally identifiable information to other companies or individuals unless we have your consent, except in the following very limited circumstances:
To comply with applicable laws (including any criminal investigation), regulations, legal process or enforceable governmental requests;
To enforce or apply our Terms of Use and other policies, including investigations of potential violations;
To protect the rights, property or safety of NovelNest, NovelNest's employees and users, or the public.
3. Information Security
We continually implement and update physical, organizational, contractual and technical security measures to protect your personal information from loss, theft, unauthorized access, disclosure, copying, use or modification. Only employees who have a business "need to know" or whose duties reasonably require such information are granted access to your personal information. Across all NovelNest platforms, we support encryption of all transmissions to protect personal information submitted on our platforms.
4. Deleting Your Information
You can delete your account within the app or request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us at [email protected]. We will evaluate such requests on a case-by-case basis. We may retain some of your data for as long as reasonably necessary to safeguard our legitimate business interests, including fraud detection and prevention, and to comply with our legal obligations, including tax, legal reporting and auditing obligations. Sometimes, your request may only be fulfilled by closing your account. You can delete your account, and you should understand that once you delete your account, you will lose the right to access or use all or part of NovelNest.
5. Non-Personal Information
5.1 NovelNest uses cookies, tracking pixels and similar technologies on our platforms to collect information that does not personally identify you (“Non-Personal Information”) that helps us provide our services to you and understand how our services are used. We also use these technologies to send promotional information and advertisements for NovelFlow-related products and services.
5.2 We may share Non-Personal Information publicly or with third parties such as publishers or advertisers. For example, we may share information with advertisers or publicly display overall usage trends of our platform.
6. Third-party advertisers, links to other platforms
6.1 NovelNest allows other companies (called third-party ad servers or ad networks) to serve ads within the NovelNest platform. These third-party ad servers or ad networks use technology to send the ads and links displayed on NovelNest directly to you. When ads are served, they automatically obtain your IP address. They may also use other technologies (such as cookies, JavaScript or Web Beacons) to measure the effectiveness of their ads and personalize the advertising content you see. These third-party partners collect, use, store, share or otherwise process your information only to provide you with personalized ads. We do not have access to the use of tracking technologies that may be placed on your device when providing services provided by such unaffiliated third parties, and this Privacy Policy does not govern the use of such tracking technologies. If you do not agree to the privacy policies of such third-party partners or do not want them to process your personal information, please do not agree to or accept this Privacy Policy. In addition to the above, we also provide advertisers and/or advertising agencies with reports on the types of audiences for their ads and the effectiveness of their ads. NovelNest's privacy policy does not apply to such other advertisers or platforms, and we cannot control their activities. Any data obtained by third-party ad servers and subsequently shared with NovelNest is maintained and processed by NovelNest in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
7. Policy Governing Use: Changes to the Privacy Policy
NovelNest reserves the right to change this Privacy Policy at any time without prior notice to you, and any changes will be effective immediately upon posting, so please review this Privacy Policy regularly.

By providing NovelNest with your email address, you consent to us sending you service-related notices, including any legally required notices, in lieu of postal mail. We may also use your email address to send you other messages, such as newsletters, feature changes, member-initiated content notifications, or special offers ("Other Messages").
9. In-App Purchases
If you are a paying customer, we may collect your payment information. This information is necessary to complete commercial transactions on our platform. We use this information to facilitate and complete your transactions. If you choose to use any third-party service to complete your order and payment, you will provide your credit card number directly to the third party. Please review the terms and notices of the relevant app store regarding such data processing. In order to be able to deposit the correct amount into your account, we will record your purchase history, purchase time, and the amount spent.
